A slightly unusual recent visitor to the port has been the ''Oceanic Discoverer'', which berthed on the 20th of January and is here for three weeks for maintenance. The 63m, 2000GT vessel is owned by Coral Princess Cruises and carries a maximum of 72 passengers and 25 crew on luxury itineraries throughout Australias' ''Top End'' and Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea, Melanesia and New Zealand. Coral Princess Cruises is widely recognised as one of the leading small ship cruise lines in the world.
