Big Brothers Big Sisters

Port Nelson has become a sponsor of the Nelson branch of youth mentoring organisation Big Brothers Big Sisters, an affiliate of the worlds largest mentoring programme.  The programme matches children and young people aged 6 to 18 with mentors in professionally supported one-to-one relationships.  "The Big Brothers Big Sisters Nelson programme is a fantastic cause to support and we are looking at other ways to support the programme besides making a financial contribution", said Port Nelson Chief Executive Martin Byrne.
