Our Stevedoring team handles predominantly containers and logs in both Nelson and Picton. We are a 24/7 operation with shifts commencing at any time of the day or night. Our major clients are the forestry, horticulture, aquaculture, automotive, food and wine sectors. And despite the impact of COVID-19, both ports keep pumping so we need more experienced individuals to join our Stevedoring team.

What’s in it for us
We need a talented Log Crane operator with previous experience in an operational or stevedoring environment. Ideally you will bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating log ship cranes.
Added to this you need:
· A genuine commitment to health and safety
· A strong appetite to train and develop
· To be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
· Flexibility to work variable hours / days with some travel to work out of Port in Picton
· To be a proactive team player with a positive, can do attitude.
