To access a Port Nelson site, every Port User must be approved on the Port Nelson Approved Port User Register (APUR). The APUR ensures that all Port Users meet our health and safety requirements before they can access the port, and that they understand and follow our Port User Safety Protocols while on port.

What do I need to provide to become a Port User?

The following process applies to all Port Users (new or renewing) seeking registration on the PNL Approved Port User Register.

Once a company has been approved on Port Nelson's APUR, shown in step one below, the company's individuals can apply for a port access card by completing an induction, as shown in step two. 

All Port Users must be approved before they can do any work on any Port Nelson site.
