Port Nelson welcome’s Cruise Ships to Whakatū Nelson, the sunniest region in New Zealand and the best little city in the top of the South Island.
Nelson City is renowned for its cuisine, arts, culture and outstanding scenery that surrounds the city. Everything is within easy walking distance. The port provides regular free city shuttles from shipside to the Nelson i-SITE or passengers can stretch their legs with a 2km (20 minute) walk from the Port to the city centre.
